The Longhorn Backyard Amphitheater isn’t just a pretty spot, it’s where some pretty legendary moments happen, like that unforgettable finale of a hit series watched by millions. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, it’s seen everything from massive crowds to quiet nights under the stars. Sure, back in 2012 there was that wild storm that briefly knocked out the stage, but they pulled through and got everything back in shape just in time for the big shows. The upgrade in 2019 to the lighting setup really upped the visual game, making every concert feel like a full-on spectacle. When Amyl and The Sniffers Dallas roll through, this place really comes alive. Whether you’re grabbing a spot in the mid-level seats that strike a great balance between comfort and price, or just soaking in the vibe from the general admission areas, it’s all about good times and loud music. If you’re heading there, take exit 22 from the freeway and keep on the road without veering off, or on the western side, follow the sunset right up to the backyard, where the fun never stops.
